Supporting the Accreditation ProcessThe reaffirmation of accreditation process can be a challenge, particularly during times of staffing cutbacks. I can provide critical consulting support during this process. My experience includes conducting research, writing drafts and coordinating materials needed to successfully demonstrate departmental and institutional achievements. During The University of Texas at Austin’s recent reaffirmation process, I provided leadership for the development of assessment plans in all departments of the Division of Student Affairs. Many units had not ever developed such plans, and I was able to support them at each step of the process. I was also responsible for developing written responses to standards and requirements of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. I conducted background research, and in collaboration with institutional leadership, developed comprehensive documents that demonstrated the institution's ability to work across divisional boundaries in order to achieve its mission and goals related to student success.
